First off — thank you. Whether you’ve been with us since the early days or just recently discovered Autodarts, we want you to know how much we appreciate your support, your feedback, and your passion. You’ve helped shape this platform into what it is today: a thriving global darts community built on innovation, fun, and fair competition. But it goes far beyond just playing games. From day one, the Autodarts community has been a driving force behind our growth—creating their own extensions, building custom tools, and contributing ideas that have even made it into production.
What many don’t realize is that Autodarts is still built by a small team, mostly in our free time, alongside full-time jobs and real-life responsibilities.
In December 2023 we founded Autodarts GmbH to take things to the next level, but building a real company and running a global platform can’t run on spare time alone. Today, tens of thousands of players use Autodarts around the world, and the potential for what’s next is huge.
To fully realize this, we need to grow. That means transitioning from nights and weekends to full-time focus, building a dedicated team, and investing in the infrastructure and features our users deserve.
But as the project has grown, so have our challenges.
From day one, we’ve wanted to keep Autodarts free and open for everyone. That vision hasn’t changed — and it won’t. But behind the scenes, the costs of running the platform have increased rapidly. Server bills, development tools, new hardware requirements, and especially the upcoming features that will be heavy on our infrastructure— all of these come with significant expenses.
We’re also at a point where we need more help to keep pushing the project forward. We want to hire developers, improve the app faster, and support the growing number of players joining every week. To make that possible in a sustainable way, we’re introducing a supporter program.

Autocorrect (AI)

The Autocorrect (AI) is a groundbreaking feature available only to supporting members (at first, read on after the feature overview), created to bring consistency and fairness to every game. When activated in a match or tournament, it replaces manual score corrections with a smarter, AI-assisted review process.
How it works
Once enabled, players can no longer adjust scores manually. If you believe a dart was misread, you can request a correction. The Autocorrect (AI) will then review the camera footage of your throw, analyze the dart’s landing position, and — if an error is detected — make a correction to your score. This approach eliminates disputes, removes the temptation for manual bias, and makes competitive play more trustworthy for everyone involved.
Why not do it for all throws automatically?
The Correction (AI) is slower, power-hungry, and runs on costly GPU servers. Using it only when needed keeps games fast, costs down, and reduces environmental impact.

Performance matters — and with advanced user stats, you finally get the tools to measure it. As a supporting member, you’ll gain access to a detailed personal dashboard showing how you’re progressing over time. View your match volume, accuracy, scoring trends, and more across selectable timeframes like days, weeks, or months. This data isn’t just for show — it gives you real insight into your growth, helping you spot weaknesses and celebrate improvements.
Whether you’re pushing for a higher average or just playing more consistently, this feature keeps your progress crystal clear.

Your membership gives you full control over how your darts appear in-game. Whether you want something bold, stylish, funny, or flashy, you’ll have access to a collection of custom dart skins to choose from. Why Autocorrect (AI) is supporter only (at first)
But this kind of system comes with a heavy cost: it requires GPU cloud servers, which are expensive to run and scale. For that reason, during the early beta period, the Autocorrect (AI) will be available exclusively to supporting members. This lets us test it thoroughly, measure real-world usage, and understand its costs — before making it more widely available.
Eventually, we want everyone to benefit from this feature. But to get there, we need a reliable way to fund and test it.

We understand that a paid version isn’t something everyone is excited to hear about. That’s okay. If you want to stick with the free version — awesome. Nothing changes. You’re still part of the Autodarts community, and you always will be.
