Elden, March 28, 2025 – Roy Otten has made history! The Dutch darts player has shattered the world record for the longest continuous darts session, playing for an incredible 120 hours and 50 minutes. This extraordinary achievement took place at Café Bonnie & Clyde in Elden and was proudly sponsored by Autodarts.
During this marathon record attempt, Roy threw a staggering 21,600+ darts in 407 legs using the Autodarts system. His endurance was not only tested by the relentless gameplay but also by the physical challenge—he walked more than 34 kilometers back and forth from the oche to the dartboard!
A Record with a Mission
Beyond breaking records, Roy had a greater purpose: he used this attempt to raise funds for the Prinses Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology. This cause gave him the extra motivation to push his limits and achieve this historic feat.
