Autodarts Proudly Sponsors Roy Otten’s World Record Attempt
Autodarts is thrilled to support Dutch darts enthusiast Roy Otten in his incredible world record attempt for the longest continuous darts match. Starting on March 22nd, Roy will take on this challenge at the Bonnie & Clyde Café in Elden, aiming to reclaim his lost record and surpass an astonishing 93 hours of play.
This will be Roy’s fifth and final attempt, as he humorously admits, “I said that last time too, but now I really mean it.” His dedication and endurance are truly remarkable—during his last attempt, he managed only 40 minutes of sleep in six days! With minimal preparation other than regular dart practice, Roy relies on his natural resilience and the support of his team to keep him going.
One of his opponents during this marathon event will be professional darts player Jermaine Wattimena, who has been a great friend and supporter of Roy’s efforts. Additionally, Roy has assembled a dedicated team, including friends to encourage him through the toughest moments and two masseuses to help maintain his physical condition throughout the event.
This extraordinary feat is not just about setting records. Roy is also using his attempt to raise awareness and funds for the Prinses Máxima Center for pediatric oncology—a cause close to his heart.
Autodarts is immensely proud to sponsor Roy in his mission. His determination, perseverance, and passion for the sport align perfectly with our commitment to advancing the game of darts through innovation and technology. We invite everyone to follow Roy’s journey and cheer him on via the live stream: Watch live on Twitch.
Let’s support Roy in making history once again!
